When it comes to real-time predictions, our team always strives to provide accurate information, but sometimes there are factors beyond our control. Technical issues and failures can occur in our system or GPS devices installed on vehicles. Additionally, external circumstances can influence real-time predictions:
1. Battery-saving mode on your phone. Battery-saving mode can cause the GPS to operate with lower precision, which may affect the predictions. We need to know your exact location to provide real-time vehicle arrival times.
2. GPS disabled on your device. Remember: we need to know your location to calculate how long it will take for the bus to reach you.
3. Weak internet connection. Think of the internet as the means through which you receive our data. If it's experiencing any issues, the prediction times may not update as expected.
4. Dead zones. These are areas within the city where there is some form of interference, such as tunnels. When we can't properly receive the signal from the GPS installed on the vehicle, the prediction may become less accurate.
5. Fluctuating bus connection. This can happen when the bus's GPS is turned off or in an environment that blocks its connection, such as the dead zones mentioned in the previous item.
